Senior Coordinator - Information Services 

Job description

  • Conducts timely and high quality research for the consulting group utilizing electronic, print and other resources
  • Works closely with consultants to understand the context of the case, determines their research needs and information services required and produces comprehensive and well organized research results

Product Marketing Specialist 

Job description

Overview
The Product Marketing Specialist will support the Global Product Marketing Manager to help lead product marketing and branding efforts for Bain’s practice areas. The role involves managing projects across a variety of stakeholders, including at times partners and senior practice area directors, collaborating with other marketing and creative groups to showcase Bain’s products and services effectively in the consulting marketplace and to internal audiences. At times, the role will also involve facilitating and participating in brainstorm sessions, managing vendor relationships and meetings, drafting product copy and mocking up simple designs. As such, the ideal candidate has both a strict orientation to detail, strong communications skills and a bias towards action, as well as interest in the creative arts.

Responsibilities
  • Project oversight and management (~60%)
    • Serve as the first point of contact to receive product branding requests and kick off projects with relevant stakeholders
    • Scoping, updating, and keeping all projects on track across Bain’s brand management needs (which may include design, video, online, etc.)
      • Maintain project tracker (in project management application) for weekly updates
    • Scheduling meetings with key stakeholders, taking notes and tracking next steps, and sending out action items following key brand meetings
    • Prepare meeting materials for meetings with product leads and other key stakeholders
    • Building and maintaining a world class product branding process and capability
      • Refining and improving the product branding process based on experience and customer feedback
      • Gathering feedback (via NPS surveys) and suggested process improvements to improve the customer experience
      • Managing & organizing all files and assets on SharePoint
  • External vendor management (~20%)
    • Conduct RFP process as necessary to identify and onboard new agencies
    • Handle and manage communications with external agencies (e.g. Tanj, our naming vendor)
    • Ensure alignment across Bain audiences and external vendors
    • Oversee and ensure the success of meetings between Bain stakeholders and external vendors
  • Branding and creative input (up to 20%)
    • Set up, facilitate, and participate in brainstorming sessions on naming and branding (as needed)
    • Work with other creative departments, such as video & design, from concept to execution to guide the production process and ensure brand compliance
  • Other brand management tasks as needed (up to 20%) – select examples below
    • Work with Product Copy Writer to develop written product descriptions
    • Collaborate with Online Marketing to build out product pages on Bain.com
    • Conduct competitor analysis and keep pulse of latest trends in B2B branding
    • Ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with Bain’s brand architecture
    • Other special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience
    • Relevant bachelor’s [OR MASTERS?] degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 4-6 years of experience working in marketing, ideally in a B2B or professional services environment; at least 2 years of hands-on project management experience
    • Experience in digital marketing
    • Knowledge of business environment and familiarity with business terms and the consulting industry
    • High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic record and previous job experience
    • Mix of in-house and agency experience preferred but not required
