Job Description:
Contribute to the programming of new applications using the .NET Framework, ASP .NET, VB .NET, C#, Business Intelligence, SharePoint, Microsoft Office and other advanced components of Microsoft technology.
Execute test scripts and document the results
Support, maintain and administer deployed solution.
Education and Experience:
1 year minimum of Application Development and Project implementation.
Functional programming experience and knowledge in three or more of the following
i. .NET Framework.
ii. QA & Testing Procedures.
iii. ASP .NET.
iv. Visual Basic .NET, C#, C.
v. Xamarin and or Android studio
vi. Web Forms and MVCs
vii. Microsoft SQL.
Functional knowledge and experience in two or more of the following development methodologies:
i. Object Oriented Development
ii. Component based development.
iii. Patterns.
iv. Design for reuse.
Interpersonal Skills:
i. Communication skills – verbal and written
ii. Listening skills
iii. Problem analysis and problem solving
iv. Attention to details and accuracy
v. Data collection and ordering
vi. Multi-tasking ability
vii. Proficiency in documentation
viii. Extremely organized
Other Job Requirements:
i. Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
ii. Demonstrated success working in a team
iii. Strong customer interfacing skills
iv. Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites located within and across Nigeria/Africa.
v. Willingness and ability to travel out of town overnight on a project by project basis as necessary to meet project requirements.
vi. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
vii. Knowledge of administrative procedures.
viii. Exposure to enterprise projects.
ix. Hands on experience on Desktop applications as well as Web application.
x. Strong self-motivation with an ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
xi. Perform unit testing on forms, reports, interfaces etc.
xii. Ability to lead specific project team
